Great Leaders
As I listened to the various Ministry Team Leaders give
reports Sunday night I was encouraged about all the hard work of our leaders
for the sake of Christ. We have great
leaders in all our ministries who work hard to engage Bartlesville and the
world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
They do it not for their own glory or even that of Eastern Heights but
for the glory of God. We are running
strong through the summer and we look forward to the beginning of school that
is coming soon. Start anticipating the
many ministries that kick off with the start of school. Thank you, leaders, for serving Christ well. I look forward to seeing what you come up
with next.
At this point in the summer the children start getting stir
crazy. I want to personally invite those
who have finished K through 2nd grade to join me and my two kids for
a one day camp experience at Green Country Camp. They will get to participate in most of the
activities the older kids get to experience at camp like a zip line, laser tag,
waterslide and much more. Parents are
welcome (encouraged) to go with us. The
$25 includes two meals. They will return
tired and hopefully a little less stir crazy.
